Wire
If you’re in search of an easy yet adorable craft project to add to your Easter basket, why not give making wire bunny ears a try? They’re easy to create and sure to add fun flair.
To create these ears, you will require scissors, pliers, hot glue and a wire coat hanger – all common tools found around the kitchen that can be used for multiple projects – plus an eyepiece.
Create bunny ears by cutting a piece of wire approximately 12 inches long – or as big as your desired ears are – from wire. If using smaller wire, this may need to be cut shorter or bent into a different shape for greater precision.
Once this step is complete, use pliers to wrap one end of the wire around your headband and secure it securely in place. Repeat with the second end. Afterward, you can begin using decorative washi tape to conceal any visible wire connections on your headband.
Now that you have some wire bunny ears, it’s time to create your headband! First, gather materials. A 3.5cm to 4cm diameter ring should work perfectly. This size should fit most children or adults perfectly.
Use a longer piece of wire and bend it into a circle that fits inside of your ring, about a quarter inch wider than its interior diameter. However, perfection is not necessary here!
After taking two of your wire’s curved ends and twisting them together to form bunny ears, use fabric glue to secure these ears further.

How to Make a Bunny Ears for Easter
Making a bunny ears headband is an adorable project to make in time for Easter, taking only minutes and fabric scraps! A great craft idea for birthday parties or something easy and fun for kids alike, the bunny ears headband makes your little one look very cute while giving you plenty of craft ideas!
Start by collecting some fabric scraps and cutting them into small rectangles, either grey, white, peach, or pink for larger bunny ear shapes, grey, white and peach for smaller ones; to add color draw a few pink and blue lines onto bunny ears and glue them down; you could also tie ribbon at each end for an enhanced finished look.
Wrap the fabric around a plastic hairband until it is completely covered, fitting some bunny ears on top to add more character and help give them some standing room! This will also ensure they stand up.
Use either a hand sewing needle and thread or hot glue gun to attach them. When hot gluing them on, just ensure to heat up your gun first before applying glue to one side of each bunny ear piece before wrapping them around your hairband and leaving to dry before continuing onto the next step.
Bunny ears can also be created out of paper for an easier method, although you must be extra careful as they could slip off your head!
Assemble two sheets of A4 paper for each ear. Fold each in half horizontally and begin drawing a bunny ear shape, beginning from its fold and drawing towards its base. Do the same on both pieces of paper.
Once both ears have been drawn out, make sure that they are identical in terms of size and shape. A template may help ensure this happens successfully.
Felt

For bunny ears, you will require two pieces of felt, some twigs and glue – Elmers glue is ideal if your children need assistance applying the twigs, while hot glue offers faster drying times than Elmers glue.
